Last Sunday Large and I had tinfoil dinners with my parent's in the mountains I grew up in. I had a great time wandering around, taking in the familiar scenery, and reminiscing in this special area that instilled a love for the backcountry in me.

Looking to the east, with patches of red and the Crawfords beyond.

Looking to the west from Red Spur (hazy). Wellsvilles are in the far distance.

Chuckhole Spring.

Stole this pic from Large.

Looking back while heading out.

Little Creek Reservoir.
Saw lots of flowers, some of which can be seen here:

WOW! I love your pictures as usual! So glad you invited us along! It was fun! I want you to teach me how you did that slide show! It was perfect, I love the slow speed of the pictures, most slides shows zoom by so fast you cant see the pictures!
Thanks for those pictures Colby! I love those mountians too! They are so beautiful. We were very blessed to grow up in them. I always said when I was young...I am going to build a house out here in these mountians so no one is around me! now look at me...I live in the city!!
Chuckhole Sping photo is an amazing reflection.
Thanks Ty. To be completely honest, Chuckhole spring is actually pretty much a mud bog/ watering hole for the cows. I just got a good angle and good light, I guess.
Love all your photos!
