Dutch Canyon Periphery

Trail breaking was pretty heinous, so Alta the Dog let me do it.

This SE facing slope was stable.

However, upon ascending the NE facing terrain for a second run, instabilities were immedialtely noticed.

This was the largest of three slides that were remotely triggered.

Had a great time.

Snake River Range

Headed north last weekend with Ken, and rendezvoused with Alex and Dave. It was great to spend some time in the mountains with some quality individuals that I don't see often enough.

Arriving at the accommodations. A big thanks goes out to Ken for having us at his cabin. He's put alot of work into it, and it shows. It's perched above Palisades Reservoir.

We decided we might as well do a little skiing. Here's Dave skiing some trees out the back door of the cabin.

Between the posh accommodations, and the sub-par quality of the snow...we didn't push ourselves to climb and ski as much as we could have. Needless to say, it was still a great time.
