Skied the SE chute/gully of Beirdneau Peak on 4/12. Got an early start, and was able to get about 2,500 vertical feet of good corn snow.

Sunrise.

A good portion of the upper bowl had avalanched, coming off the rock outcroppings. Still smooth snow to skier's left.

These pictures are beautiful! I dont like it when you said it had avalanched, and Cornice sounds dangerous! Did you know it said avalanche danger was really high especially on Sunday and Monday because of the warm weather. so maybe dont go in the back country for a couple of days! Please!! I am glad you feel like going, but be smart!!
That's why you get an early start, and are out of the mountains before the warming. Thanks though, Mom.
