Gibson Basin

Took the S.A.V. back into Idaho on President's Day. Started at Sink Hollow, went up Beaver Creek, past Pat Hollow, and into the Gibson Basin vicinity. Nice to have some good visibility, it was bluebird. Snow seemed stable, with recrystalized powder on northerly aspects. If the high pressure continues a big line should get skied.
Alta breaks trail near the ridgeline.

Views back towards the divide were good. Here's a look at Doubletop.

Alta didn't bother to turn.

A look back at some tracks.

Somewhere in Southern Idaho.

The S.A.V. got us in deep and fast.
