Made some turns up @ Tony Grove today. Still pretty thin and "contrived", but skiable. Got a late start-made 4 laps. Snow quality ranged from dry granulated sugar to wind-affected to saturated glop at the lowest elevations/ in the sun. Quite windy off the ridges. Found drifted pockets that were 2', much less than that elsewhere.

patience my friend, patience, it will come,i cant believe you made turns in that colb, and it does look pretty thin, i hope it starts to pile on, you had better be skiing on some old PRE's or something, i saw some pretty big rocks that you nailed, still looks fun, lets ski when i come home
adios
Todd,
yeah, I hit a couple rocks. I'm skiing on my Trabs, and the tip is broke on one of them, so I wasn't too worried. A couple runs were rock free however. We'll def. make some turns when you get back. I got a snomobile, so we can access deep into the ranges.~Colby
I know how sad you are because of NO SNOW! I'm amazed you actually skiied in that little of snow. I hope you used old skis.
